In his letter to the Colossians, Paul urges them to see that Jesus should redefine their lives: their suffering, their character, their service and even their family. In short no part of their lives is untouched by Jesus. As we explore the books of Colossians and Philemon we pray we too will see what a wonderful God we have and how to redefine our lives around Him. |

The letter to the Colossians addresses problems within the church at Colossae and challenges believers to examine and redefine their lives and be transformed through the love of Jesus. Closely related to this letter is also the letter of Philemon where Paul asks Philemon to put this redefinition and the gospel into practice by recognising a former slave as a brother in Christ.
