In response to some incorrect teaching Paul calls the Galatians to embrace, once again, the grace of God and their calling to be a multi-ethnic family. This summer we will join with the churches in Galatia in exploring afresh the fact that God loves us, not because of what we do but because of who He is, and there is no other gospel! |

New testament letters...
The bible contains a number of books written in different literary styles. Often to see what the author has been led to communicate to us we are helped by understanding the medium in which they have chosen to write. Galatians is a missive to the churches in the region of Galatia, (modern-day turkey) as such we need to engage with it as we would any letter. The bible project has put together a number of resources that are designed to help us as modern-day readers study New Testament letters and the style of ancient letter writing, that we might better understand what God has prompted the author to say. |
