We are now using Vimeo and Youtube to live stream Sunday morning services from Eastleigh Baptist Church during the Coronavirus response.
Note, music taken from iSingWorship - all rights reserved. (See https://www.isingworship.org/streaming)
You can watch the services on either a PC, a Mac, an Android phone or an iPhone/iPad.
On Vimeo - Our Sunday morning worship service is available by clicking HERE This will open a new webpage on Vimeo with the video stream visible. As usual, the link will only work when the service is running - it's a live stream, not a recorded video. "Doors open" (ie event goes live) just after 10:15am and the service starts properly at 10:30am. Chat is available until 10:30am so say hi to the rest of the congregation!
On Youtube - alternative live stream available on YouTube. It should be present on the Eastleigh Baptist Church channel which can be found here
If you really get stuck please use the contact page on this website and send us a message. We'll try to get back to you quickly if an event is running.
A few general tips if you have problems with stuttering and poor performance
a) Trying moving closer to your wifi router or use a wired Ethernet connection if you can
b) Check no one else in the house is heavily using the internet at the same time
c) Do a speedtest - try www.speedtest.net. If you are getting less than 1-2Mbits/sec download then you will have problem. Ideally you would want 5Mbits/sec or more. If you get poor results when no one is using the internet in the house and you are connected to the router by an Ethernet cable then you will probably have to call your internet provider.
d) If the page is totally frozen, reload the page in your browser
How to watch on a PC or a Mac
The stream should just open like a normal webpage. You can make the video fullscreen by clicking on the symbol circled in red below. The blue bars enable you to change the volume.

How to watch on an Android phone or an Apple iPhone/iPad
Unlike with Teams, no special app is needed to view it. It should appear in a webpage very similar to the PC experience shown above. However, we have found that performance can better if you use the Vimeo app which is available on iOS and Android app stores. The screen for all the apps looks similar. Note that often the sound can be muted in the apps until you touch the play button
