Small Groups

Being part of a small group is one of the best ways to get to know people and to grow in your Christian faith. Groups meet at various times during the week and in different geographical areas. All of our groups together with their group leader are listed below. For more information on any group please Contact Us.

Get connected with a group.

Here's a list of our small groups so you can find the right one for you.
Each group is different but the usual pattern is to start with a drink and a chat. The group leader will have prepared a bible study often based on the talk on the previous Sunday morning. There will be a time of prayer. It can last for 1.5 – 2 hours depending on the group.
Mondays:
Name: Launch The Lord

Leaders: Mike & Anita Dodd
Day: Monday
Time: 7.30pm

We are a small group of people in our 20's and 30's meeting on a Monday evening. We study God's word, eat chocolate biscuits, and share life together.

Name: Alpha Amigos
Leader: Neil Ellis & Karen Wilmont
Day: Monday - Share and Prayer (Zoom/Face to Face)
Thursday  - Bible Study  (Zoom/Face to Face).

Time: 8pm
We are an open, honest and mutually supportive small group which meets twice a week: Mondays for share and prayer and Thursdays for study. We would love to have more members. We have hybrid meetings so all can attend either via zoom or face to face, and we don't take ourselves too seriously.

Tuesdays:
Name: Tuesday Morning Group

Leader: Fi Luland
Day: Tuesday
Time: 10am-12pm

Tuesday Morning Group was initially set up for 'young mums', who couldn't get to evening groups, with a crèche for pre-schoolers. 20yrs later, most 'young mums' now return to work and we're moving into grandparent territory!  It's a blessing to have a group just for ladies, providing a different dynamic to other groups.
We do a mix of following EBC sermon series/our own Bible Study series/inviting speakers or doing 'something different'

The Nomads are a lovely group, always coming with an ear to hear and a heart to help. The bulk of the group consists of parents to young children - Family is very important to each member.
