The book of Job centres around one man’s agony and raises questions around suffering, justice, God’s sovereignty and about how the world is run. Ultimately, what we find in the book of Job is that these questions and struggles aren’t answered with intellectual explanations but are answered by an experience of God. At the end of the story Job doesn’t have many answers, but has become the kind of person that no matter what comes, good or bad, he can trust God’s wisdom. |
