Thursday mornings during term time
our lunch club for senior citizens meets every Thursday during term time from 11 am to 1pm. The club gives an opportunity to enjoy good food and make new friends in an informal setting. The usual programme is:
 
11-11.30: Tea or coffee on arrival and order your lunch.
11.45-12.15: Notices followed by singing of favourite hymns chosen by members, a brief thought for the day and prayer.
12.20: Lunch is served! Lunch consists of a main course, dessert and tea or coffee.

Lunch currently costs £3.50 and must be ordered by 11.30am. An alternative to meat can be ordered and fresh fruit can be substituted for dessert.  The club has also enjoyed an annual summer coach outing and a Christmas meal.

Sports Groups

Wednesday Evenings / Saturdays
We run a football team, a cricket team and a badminton club.  

Football

We play in the Churches Football League. Games are played on Saturday mornings. Training is on a Wednesday evening from 9pm-10pm at Crestwood School and is open to all, whether or not you wish to be considered for the team.

​Please just come along on a Wednesday.

Badminton

This takes place every Wednesday from 8pm -10pm at Places for People Fleming Park, Eastleigh, and is open to anyone aged 16+ of any ability.

Please just come along on a Wednesday evening.

Cricket

During the summer months May-August we organise cricket fixtures against other church based teams which are played on Saturday afternoons. Indoor cricket nets are also held in March and April on Sunday afternoons at Thornden School, Chandlers Ford in preparation for the season.

Scrapbooking

Second Monday evening of the month

Do you enjoy scrapbooking and craft activities? This group gives you the opportunity to do this in the company of others and to make new friends in a relaxed environment. The group meets every 2nd Monday evening of the month at 7.30pm in Wells Place Centre.
